Program Description:
Through a combination of studio interviews with a host and video packages shot on location throughout the borough, Sector B: The Business of Brooklyn, a monthly show hosted by Michael Burke, executive director of policy & strategic planning for the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, will help viewers find the tools and institutions that can help them find a location; market their companies; manage their employees; develop new products; keep a factory afloat; and deal with the bumps in the road to building or sustaining any business. We'll also highlight training and job opportunities for those looking to join the workforce or change careers.
Story ideas were suggested by an advisory committee made up of major stakeholders in Brooklyn's business-related universe and reflecting a diversity of professional and cultural backgrounds.
