Dave Douglas’ Festival of New Trumpet Music (FONT) hits Brooklyn for 2 nights of Brass & Avant-Jazz, co-curated by Taylor Ho Bynum, John McNeil, and Jeremy Pelt. Founded in 2003 by Douglas and Roy Campbell, Jr., FONT Music promotes avant-garde, adventurous, and experimental brass, featuring an international lineup of trumpeters representing the worlds of jazz, new music, free form, hip-hop, rock, improvisational, classical, and more.
